Hi guys! I was wondering if I would be discriminated against for medical school applications if I wrote about my skin tone and sexuality in the optional disadvantaged essay?

So, to my understanding, the disadvantaged essay is looking for specific/tangible ways you were negatively impacted/had barriers or roadblocks during the pre-med process. If you had some specific situations that were directly due to your skin tone or sexuality which impacted your time, sure. If not, may be better suited to add nuance in a diversity essay.
