Quick question about what constitutes "disciplinary action": As a sophomore working as a study group leader at my school, I made a mistake filling out a timesheet, and long story short my supervisor found out about it and terminated my employment + added me to a restricted rehire list (for that division of the university)...stupid mistake, totally preventable, but I definitely wasn't being malicious. Anyway, does this constitute disciplinary action, and is it something I should report on my secondary apps? This may be asking more than people know, but does anyone know if this will have any effect if I get accepted into the MD/PhD program at my undergraduate school on my ability to get a stipend? Thanks all...

Most likely you're going to have to ask someone at your school, because this type of thing sounds pretty school specific. Did someone think what you did was malicious/unethical or did they blacklist you for something they thought was an innocent mistake? Anyway, definitely ask around at your school.

I'm not really sure...the whole thing was strange to me, because it basically amounted to 1.2 hours worth of work that they determined I didn't do...when they asked me about it (before I had any idea they were going to fire me or anything) I just said "look, if it's going to be a problem, just don't pay me for the whole last paycheck", but apparently no dice. I contacted the dean of students at my University, hopefully they get back quickly; I already submitted AMCAS and am hoping I don't have to go back and report this to all the schools I'm applying to...
