First, I know that AADSAS calculates the GPAs differently.

I'm really concerned because according to my school's enrollment portal, I have a 3.96 graduate GPA so I included that in my personal statement (I'm a reapplicant). I checked yesterday, and according to AADSAS, my graduate GPA is a 3.89. I don't want school's to think I was lying about my GPA in my personal statement. Should I contact the individual schools to let them know or am I overthinking this?

Thanks!

why would you put your GPA number in ur PS haha? maybe it fits...second of all no I wouldnt worry about it. school know AADSAS have like a "standardized" way of calculating your GPA...and AADSAS combines things a little bit. You should have +/- GPA and one without anyway

Lol Yeah it's a bit weird, but I included it to update what I've been doing the past year and how I've improved since the last cycle.

Okay, that's good to know! I was freaking out a bit.

I'm also wondering why you would list your specific GPA in your personal statement.
I'm a reapplicant so I wanted to update how I have improved since the last cycle. It was just a sentence in my last paragraph, nothing too in their face.

It's too late now but in general, I would try to avoid listing specifics like grades which are already going to be seen on your transcript and application. Simply stating you've been taking graduate coursework and have done well will suffice.

Interestingly enough, it was due to the request of 3 personal statement readers from SDN that mentioned that I include it. But I definitely see what you're saying! Hopefully it won't affect me too much.

haha i'd be very weary of what everyone says here. you're fine though! it won't be the deal breaker especially if you used to make a point of your progress.for future keep in mind the people can read the numbers. and you can be sure that GPA is probably the first thing they look at.
