I dont know where do i stand despite getting 2 interviews one at bu and the other at nyu.
i have toefl cbt 267,nbde part one 91 90 86 77 overall 86,ece gpa 3.0,one year of residency in my home country and 2 years of work experiece as a dental assistant hat to in my ow country.
both my interviews are in january.
i just dont feel good :/ what do u guys think?do i have a chance in hell?!

2 interviews? 👍 👍 Go Kick Ass! I got one with an 85 and no experience! Once you get interviews all you have to do is be confident and tell them how much you love dentistry. Keep your chin up! Remember once you are called to an interview you are as good as a person who has a 95 and 10 years experience, if you are called on the same day. Dress smart and act smart! Be yourself. Answer as you would to a friend. Tell them why you earnestly love dentistry and why their school in specific. Good Luck!

If your faith is as small as a mustard seed! you can say to this mountain,be moved and cast into the sea, it will move........... if you beleive you can get in with this score, you will get in, if you dont beleive you will get in, you won't. i know 10 people last year that got in with your score..... 7 indians, 1 romanian, 1 african, and me.....lol!

No one is a better choice for those dental schools' which you are going to be interviewed in until proven otherwise!

Dont get bogged down with these silly thoughts...feel that if u have got a call over so many hundreds waiting....God has an answer which might change your future...look up to urself and beyond these thoughts and may be some thing really exciting is waiting for u.....just focus on that thought and see how energy flows all over u.....go get it grab it ...wer all waiting to hear ur experiences....GOOD LUCK

I could never have said it any better. Mesh, whatever doubts your feeling, don't take it with you to the interview days. Just leave it back home,. I am just like you, have a constant episod of unworthines and dont trust my ability to do, accomplish, or achieve anything. I think that is normal feelings all of us have, but we shouldn't let it control our life.

Make your self familiar with the University your going to, read about it history, or any event they are having or going to have that you may find it intresting. Make your self feel as if you are going there to study next semester. And pray alot😀 , and you will get it.

Hey Mesh,
You will do great..all the very best. I have friends who have been called around Feb 20 so Jan just seem right. Secondly, NYU starts from tomm so, maybe that meant for you only..Give us an update when you r done with your interview. Best of Luck.
 
yesh i will DEF let you guys know thanks for all the support day after tom i have my very first interview at BU then on tuesday at NYU.👍
 
overall application counts its all bull**** if u want to go to bu ONLY UR NBDE score counts and thats it.....nyu well looks for an overall well rounded applicant.lets see what happens i am done with both the interviews!:luck:

interview at nyu lasted an hour! and at bu 5 minutes!
 
I guess we all go through this phase! I don't know if i stand a chance or not... this wait is so long and killing me. I thought i may be called for an interview and now its been long and am getting doubts. This wait is grueling me.
 
yes, hopefully, this is just a phase and it will soon pass....
well, thts how i have had to convince myself so many times going thru this struggle...just wait patiently till ur time comes....gd luck, buddy.
