Probably a long shot but just wondering,

Has anyone applied to the Veterinary Hospital Internship through Disney Professional Internship with under 480 hours of wildlife rehabilitation experience and been successful? I'm currently interning at a center this summer, but will not make the 480 hour mark. I want to know how strictly it is enforced so I can figure out my next move going forward.

@pinkpuppy9 did Disney shenanigans and may be able to help. She just graduated, so I'm not sure when/if she'll be able to reply.

I applied last semester with the same thoughts. They wouldn't interview me unless I could verify that I had 480 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't have quite that many and was not granted an interview. Good luck!

I just applied to that internship and made it to the top 5 (didn't get it) but I know that they 100% will just throw out your application if you don't meet the hour requirements.

Thank you! Good to know, congrats on making it as far as you did!

Thank you so much for sharing, that is definitely good to know.

Thanks! It all worked out in the end because I ended up getting accepted to KSU this cycle, but if you ever do end up applying the interview was super chill and Leanne (the lady in charge of picking interns) is awesome. Feel free to PM me if you ever have any questions!

When I applied, they required 6 months in wildlife rehab and in a vet clinic, not specific hours (but the concept was the same-if you weren't at 6 months in each, you didn't make it past the first cut).
