I am currently an international postgraduate student at Sheffield Hallam University (UK) from Germany and right now in the research phase for my dissertation.
As my grandma back at home recently is in need of 24h care, I am very interested in this field of research and therefore, my dissertation might be a comparison of the German and British health care system.
I already did a lot of research on the system here in the UK, but because this is a very sensitive and individual area and business, I find it very hard to find reliable information about the pricing structure.
I want to focus on (residential) care homes (with and without nursing) especially in 24h full-service for EMI (because of the background with my grandmother).
I want to investigate if there are differences in the pricing structure within the country and compare it to prices in Germany.
Can you help me? I would need information on how much carers generally charge for a full-service package. Maybe you could give me some advice or at least some further information on where I could get this information from?
