DIT "Part 2/Intense" realistic LENGTH/TIME?

Hey guys, quick question for anybody using/has used DIT for Step 1. I am trying to plan out my intense study period and have some questions. I know that they give you 30 days exactly to have it activated. My last MSII exam is May 6th, I'm taking May 7th off, and starting "studying" May 8th. I am taking my actual exam June 30th. Although they give you 30 days, how long is "realistically finishing" the Part 2 going to take? I am planning on long study days (10 hours average) so I can fully commit to it. However, I just don't know when to activate. I realize that it's only a few days here or there depending on when I activate it, but I guess my real question is how long does it honestly take to complete once? My thinking is that I would like to complete it EARLIER in the study period, and use the later time for straight UWORLD questions. If anybody has any experience, would love to chat with you and would really appreciate the response. Thoughts and suggestions are more than welcome.

I'm starting it Monday. Most of the M3's told us to allot 16-19 days. My friend from undergrad at another med school told me the same thing. They have a 15 day plan, but to really take anything from the course you're going to need to pause it a lot more than you'd think. Plus you're going to need to be reviewing FA at the same time... So I'd say plan on 18 to be safe. If you finish it quicker thats even better, but the last thing I'd want is to get several days behind.

Hey thanks for the heads up. We have our last MSII exam this Monday. I'm taking Tuesday off and then going through all the Primer Sets (will concurrently making a pass through First Aid) from Wednesday until Monday (taking Saturday off for a family event). On Tuesday I am going to take a full length practice test (uWorld or should I just buy a NBME? Thoughts? to get a baseline of where I am at). And finally, Tuesday the 14th I will start the Part 2 of DIT. I was planning on it taking me anywhere from 18-20 days, really trying to pull everything I can from it. And the rest of the time I have left, just questions after questions and/or practice exams. It would be great to stay in touch with you over your Part 2 period to compare days/schedules and see if anything is working/not working for eachother if you would like.
