Hi, I'd like some input on the topic of submitting secondary applications as a Canadian.

When answering questions that address diversity, uniqueness, or any other information that I may want to provide, would it be acceptable to use my Canadian-ness as a diverse trait? Having had clinical volunteer experience, and doing some reading, I have a general understanding of the main differences between the American and Canadian healthcare systems. I thought this would be an important aspect I might mention in secondaries (since I didn't really address it in my PS or my primary at all).

Thanks.

You might as well.

That sounds legit. I could see them asking you to explain how you think the American health care system might learn from the Canadian health care system or vice-versa. I had a similar question come up at one of my interviews.
