Hello, i'm new bie here.. I want to ask some question from my research project.

I want to immerse the pit fissure sealant with light curing polimerized in DMEM, to get the value of water sorption/solubility, hardness, and leeching process that affect the viability of the cell(because no material can be polimerized in 100% perfect). My lecturer have suggested me to use DMEM(Dulbecco minimal essential medium) to avoid the contamination from water that affect the viability of the cells. But my second lecturer ask me "Does the DMEM and water have same physical properties?"

I have read many journal that show the viscosity between this kind of medium, and exactly same..But they don't trust me.

Now I'm very confused because my lecturer ask me how to make DMEM liquid with high glucose, but first she asked me what is the ratio between the DMEM solution and water.. Can you please help me? I think DMEM contains approximately 90-98% water, distilled water..but she ask me where is your reference? please help me.

and second question is can the water solubilty test from resin pit fissure sealant be obtained by using this kind of liquid(i mean DMEM, not water)how many percent the bias?

thanks for helping me...
