DMU interview- where to stay?

I need advice on hotels in the Des Moines area. I would like to stay somewhere comfortable, cheap, and not too far away. I have found myself to be with little money this late in the app. process.🙁

Perhaps a current DMU student would allow me to stay with them.
(It's a long shot, but worth a try)

Hey there,
I stayed at the Renaissance Savery Hotel in Des Moines, they provided a shuttle to and from the airport as well as to an from the school. The student rate is 52 dollars and it was well worth it, it's an amazing hotel, but if you want to stay w/ a student I think DMU sends you a packet w/ the names of some students who are willing to house an interviewee, check it out or call the school.

There is a Holiday Inn about 10 min. from DMU. The hotel calls itself, Holiday Inn at Drake because it is right by Drake University. It is better than many Holiday Inns. I think it is like $62/night.

dmu will send you a packet that contains the names of students who are willing to house interviewees. if your interview date is fast approaching and you still haven't found a student, let me know, and i will ask one of my friends.
