Any thoughts?

Well let's look at differences and then you can decide what is right for you:

DMU:
--basic science didactic training, with case based and electives as supplement
--wireless campus with technology included
--new facility
--city size ~ 400,000-600,000
--school in relatively good neighborhood

KCUMB:
--PBL and case based curriculum with supplemental lectures
--new facility in the works
--city size ~ huge
--school in not so good neighborhood, but have benefit of larger city

Sorry if I am leaving anything out but I'm sure others will add some more info.

I haven't been to DMU but KCUMB impressed me. The campus isn't in the best part of town by anymeans but everyone was friendly (students, faculty, administrators, staff...) The presentation based curriculum seems like a good idea since that is how it will be after med school, but the style is still new for the school and seems to be a work in progress (at least that was my impression) but the first class to complete the new curriculum was said to have done well on the boards... anyway, the class size is 250 for the class entering fall 05... that is my impression and input. If you have been accepted to both go with DMU, I want to go to KCUMB 😉 j/k
