Hi, I got an A+ for spring quarter in Calculus and was wondering if that would accumulate into my GPA in the end. I don't want to come off as cocky or anything but it's just that my overall gpa is not that great and was wondering if the calculus grade will help boost it. Thanks!

mmmmm i don't know what to tell you 😕 you got an A and you're wondering if it will boost your GPA? well, this is a toughie...

i mean, you may have a better chance of boosting your GPA if you get B's and C's instead of A's. it is only logical..ya know?

Okay, maybe I wasn't clear enough in my original post. I realize that an A equates to 4.0 and an A- to 3.7..etc. Does an A+ equal to 4.3?

A+ and A are both considered a 4.0. Check out http://www.adea.org/AADSAS/WebDocs/AppAADSASInstructions.pdf

My school made it hard on us...we just recently converted to +/- grading scale. and we don't give out A+'s. 🙁

can someone also tell me how to convert % to gpa. my school only gives out numerical marks as in 78 or 98 etc.. If someone knows then please post.

Your link doesn't work.

And you are only partially correct. The AADSAS GPA WITH +/- does count an A+ as a 4.333. The GPA without +/- counts A+ and A as a 4.0.

Yeah, you're right it's 4.333. My bad
