DO admissions cycle timing question

NSU DO has the following deadlines on its website: January 15: AACOMAS App Due; March 1: NSU Supplemental App Due.

Are those deadlines for admission in September 2025, or September 2026? Regrets for what is I am sure a pretty basic question. Thank you.

Most likely those deadlines are for the class starting in 2025 (Class of 2029). If you want to start in 2025 then you'd want to apply ASAP since it's rolling admissions.

Yes, those are the standing mileposts for an application cycle for admission to the next class. January 15, 2025, to enter in September 2025. Ditto in 2026, etc.

You can always confirm with the schools, just in case there are some nuances... like if the day falls on a Sunday.

If I submit AACOMAS applications by January 15, 2025 and supplemental by March 1, 2025, would that application be for admission in September 2025 or September 2026?

With regrets, given how I phrased the original question, I am not sure of the answer. I have looked at admissions websites but the ones I have seen so far have the same ambiguity.

September 2025. DO cycle runs longer but most people don’t recommend waiting to submit til January as most of the schools classes are probably almost filled by then

If I got an application in this September 2024 then, is my sense correct that I would be significantly late (with most students having submitted over the summer) but still worth a shot (in the sense that it is not so hopeless that it woudl not make sense to wait another year)? Thank you.

As long as it’s done before October you are still good to go! It’s a bit late but some schools just started interviews end of August so you just may not be reviewed til later. I think it’s still worth it just try to turn secondaries around ASAP
