No, many prokaryotes do not.

gamma ray is correct, not all bacteria have flagella.

Support bacteria. It's the only culture that some people have.

I wonder how many non pre-meds would get that

Reminds me of that one kid who got like a thousand people to sign a petition against dihydrogen monoxide.

  my chem prof made us write a dihydrogen monoxide reflection paper (with sources he provided) and everyone wrote negative a reflection (including me lol), but afterwards he told us what it was. Yeah pretty nice joke by the prof.

That really happened?

Who wants to see my flagella? 😉

Scary part is I just had my tests on bacteria for micro practical today. 🙁 At least we got to use a study sheet we had used for our bacteria identification lab

This is perhaps the only post ever on SDN that warrants a poll. Please repost as a poll so we can vote on it.

That was sooooooooo awesome.

Oh and speaking of dihydrogen monoxide, one of my friends was pissed at an organic lab professor so he used that terminology instead of water to describe things. Weird. Anyways, he would do little little things like that to annoy the TA. It was hillarious.

Truly brilliant piece of work, isn't it? LOL Give that guy an award!
"One of the most surprising facts recently revealed about Dihydrogen Monoxide contamination is in its use as a food and produce "decontaminant." Studies have shown that even after careful washing, food and produce that has been contaminated by DHMO remains tainted by DHMO."

Are you from Harvard? Because you just plagiarized that quote without citing your source. Ok, ok, that was lame.
