I am in a post-bac right now so I'm not sure which are linked, but I would not base my decision on a program based on a linkage to a medical school unless you are 100% sure about where you want to go after you are done. You would be suprised how another year can change your mind about school. IMO, pick a post bac based on how well they can prep you for the MCAT, if you are going to re-take it and find a balance between classes that will help you for medical school and a course load that you can do really, really well in. Doing a year or two of post bac and doing well can open a lot of doors for you. Take a look at the schools that studends in the past have matriculated into.
People get heated about the concept of medical school reputation, but for post-bac's...it is critical. Schools that can boast a matriculation rate in the 90's shows that area medical schools are familiar with the program and have seen that students that finish those programs can do well in medical school.
