Do any of the California schools reward reinvention?

Hi everyone, I'm a low gpa/high mcat applicant applying next year and would love to attend medical school here if at all possible. I have a good upward trend and good ECs. I know they are all competitive but are there any that are willing to take on a lower GPA applicant?

I've seen people on here and know people personally who got into USC and UCSF with below avg GPAs. They all had 35+ MCATs.

UCSF is a bit more unpredictable but USC loves a strong MCAT! They'd be your best bet. Maybe UCLA/UCSD/UCD if you have a lot of service, especially to the Latino community.
