I'm assuming that most schools do not combine MCAT scores like the SAT, but i figured it would be worth a shot to ask. I took it last year and received a 27 (8,9,10). I retook this year and scored ~7 points lower than my practice average and got a 26 (10,6,10). I completely bombed the verbal portion and I have no idea how. I was averaging around a 10-11 on all the practice tests, not sure what happened during the real thing. Is it plausible to think that any schools may combine my score for a 29, or am I kind of screwed since i dropped a point. At this point, i'm sending in my application for D.O. schools...

thanks in advance

A small number do. I know George Washington does. But for most schools, you're outta luck. Sorry.

I know the University of Utah will take your highest scores on each section from multiple tests. If you are either from Utah or Idaho that could help otherwise you're in a tight spot.
