When browsing through school websites at some point, I seem to recall seeing at least one school requesting letter writers be "senior faculty members" or something along those lines. Anyone know if the title of the instructor matters to any schools?

I'm considering asking former science instructors who, now that I look them up, have titles like "Dr. X, adjunct lecturer," as opposed to "professor".

Does this matter?

I personally did not see any schools listing a LOR requirement of senior faculty members. Like what was said above, just don't use a TA (it's discouraged, but if you must, at least get the professor to also sign)

Okay, good, thanks. Just waiting for another nitpick-y LOR-related thing to creep up on me. Glad this wasn't one.
