Do adcoms look at scores on AP Exams? If one got a 2 or 3, can this hurt application? Conversely, if one got a 4 or 5, can this help? I took 11 AP exams, and have upwards of 50 Credits from AP's alone; will adcoms wanna see my scores?

I don't think that medical school adcoms will want to see your AP scores - doesn't matter if they were good or bad.

I would hope not. If you got a 2 or 3 and your school doesn't accept those score then you're going to have to take those classes over again. I took AP Calc and received a 2 on the exam. I took Calc 1 and received a B+ in it and I worked my tail off for it. I'd hate to have an adcom go "yes well TamarMD that B+ is ok but lets talk about that 2 on your AP exam". I'd be pissed off.

I got a 1 on the AP French Exam.

I got into medical school.

I also got a 5 on the AP Bio Exam. I'm pretty sure this had no bearing on my medical school application.

I don't think anyone cares after UG - your college will give you X amount of credits for a certain score, and that's about it.

Med schools can only see what your college gave you credit for and not the actual score (as that's all you put on the AMCAS).

So no, it won't be your AP scores that keep you out of medical school.

I don't know... Harvard AND Stanford told me that my receiving a 4 on the Latin AP led to my being placed in the auto-reject pile. 🙁

the only way I could see this affecting an application is if you used AP credit for prerequisites. I did, and some schools were none too happy. But most didn't care.
