So I started my application and I've basically done the majority of it save for getting transcripts. How long does it usually take them to get transcripts? Also should I wait to have the entire thing done before I click on the schools I want to apply to?

Also how do you enter in something like attending a college for a year, transferring to another, but then taking a course a summer at the previous college during a summer session?

You just enter in the courses, the semester/quater you took them and the year. AACOMAS will organize it all for you based on school/date etc.

Even if you only took 1 class at a school...make a listing for that school, enter in the course work and AACOMAS will arrange everything in chronological order for you when you look at your application summary.

Right, so I should make the till date the date when I finished the last summer course then? In the College & Coursework page it seems like that's the one way I can enter in classes that I took that was in the summer after I transferred out of that school.

AACOMAS has already received one of my transcripts since my school emailed it to them.

I've already received confirmation from 2 other schools that they have sent it.

I imagine if you get this done NOW, you can have them received and up to your account within 2 days.

So have you already applied without your aacomas thing being fully filled out? Or does the apply button just mean that you're telling the schools to open up a folder for you?

I don't think AACOMAS will send anything to the schools you select until everything is finished on their end so even if you submit now, they'll probably wait until they have your transcripts.

If by "applied," you mean submitting then no I have not applied.

I just added my schools attended---and requested the transcripts. Have done nothing else--no classes, no ECs--nothing.

We cannot submit and pay until June 1 anyway. You still have a month to get the application filled out, transcripts sent in, MCAT uploaded etc.

From the start of your first class, to the end of your last class at that institution.

You don't official "apply" without submitting your app and it being verified. Schools won't know that you are applying to them if you just add them, they will only know after you submit the app on June 1st and AACOMAS verifies it a couple weeks later. They won't receive the app until it is released post-verification.
