Do A's under mentored research courses count toward the science GPA?

Do A's under mentored research courses count toward the science GPA? Yes, if your research is in a BCPM field.

Also, do medical schools decrease the value of your GPA because of the ease of getting an "A" in this course. No. It's not likely to make a significant difference in your GPA anyway.

Not that this needs assurance, but I had 12 credits of research (received As in all 12) that counted toward my BCMP. There were no issues.

Undergrads tend to drastically overemphasize particular coursework when applying. Unless there are blatant grade inflating courses (e.g. taking 20 credits of intro level coursework after receiving a major in that field), they will neither notice nor care. In ~10 interviews I remember a particular course being brought up once, and that was only because they asked me what my favorite course was!

What were those courses?
