GPA: 3.5 (upward trend from 2.8 freshman year)
sGPA: 3.45
BS Biology 2019
No MCAT yet
Volunteering (200+ hours): veteran's hospital ER transporter, veteran's hospital vital taker, mentorship for student with special needs at a children's hospital, taught English at an elementary school in Italy for a semester
Certifications: phlebotomy certification with 40 hour externship (planning to start working as phlebotomist), wine spectator (Italy spring 2018)
Involvement: Sorority all 4 years, honors humanities study abroad intersession, study abroad Italy semester, volunteer club, pre-PA club, senior thesis
Shadowing: so far, I've only shadowed rural PAs
Leadership: campus coordinator for pre-health club, study abroad peer mentor
Awards: In-state tuition scholarship, honors academy scholarship, volunteer award
Would not having any research experience really hurt my application?
Is my GPA possible for med school?
Is there a specific area that I should focus on during my senior year? (such as gain more clinical experience with phlebotomy, volunteer more, MCAT, grades?)
How many shadowing hours would be recommended?
