I just received my MCAT scores. I got a 503 (125/125/126/127).
My cGPA is 3.56, and my sGPA is 3.55.
I have 100+ clinic volunteer hours working with the homeless
20+ shadowing hours (MD, I couldn't find a DO but I'm still looking).
I also have 2 years of research.
I optimistically already submitted my AACOMAS and would like suggestions for schools that I might have a good chance at. Thanks!

Lol. Premed brains. You are literally competitive for all of them except coastal touros and Midwestern schools

Sorry. Didn't mean to be one of those but my MCAT score has really gotten me down. I live in Georgia.

Any other clinical experience? I know some schools have been requiring some applicants to gain more clinical experience before sending them an II.

We have very similar stats (I have a 3.5 GPA and 504 MCAT) and I've been pretty successful this cycle so stats alone I think you will get some love.

I recommend applying to all of the newer schools. I wouldn't bother with the Midwesterns though.

You may still have a shot at Georgia's MD schools especially if your application bleeds primary care. apply to all of them in the south. I'm almost 100% sure you'll get interviews to all schools except maybe nova. Then pick and choose across the country. Stay away from coastal touros and Midwestern campuses. I also would stay away from the state schools (osu, Ohio, Michigan state, Texas, Rowan).

I'm currently volunteering in a clinic that serves the uninsured and homeless. I'm still shadowing. I volunteered at a hospice for 1 year.

Thanks guys. Maybe I just need to have a drink and calm down then.

PCOM-GA. They have a regional bias which will work in your favor. Hit the schools in your adjacent states as well. VCOM-CC, NSU-COM, VCOM Auburn. You will be fine.

I think schools will love both of those experiences. Apply broadly and you'll be fine! Good luck to you.

Wow, you should do some research before you insult some of these other pre-meds with actual LOW MCAT scores. Lol!

You're fine, but you're going to want to apply NOW to maximize your chances of acceptance. Do NOT wait.

Edit:
Read too fast and didn't see that you submitted your primary. You're fine m8. GL to you!
