just curious but has anyone tried them and seen results?

well, this might belong more in the Dental forums (ha!), but I can attest to the fact that, yes, they do work. And they're fun.

Yup...they do pretty well at whitening the most visible teeth

Yes, they do work.

They work very well. I saw results after the first day! They made my teeth really sensitive, though, so I couldn't finish the entire treatment.

I'll add another yes. Def. a good investment. I don't want to sound like a soccer mom, but look through your sunday newspaper for a coupon. They usually have a $5-12 discount.

I would not recommend Crest Whitening Strips. I tried them for a week and made my teeth so sensitive that I could not even breathe because my teeth were so sensitive that it felt shocking. It is hard to describe the feeling. But, like one of the above posters stated, I couldnt finish the treatment, it just made my teeth so sensitive, it was out of control. Use with caution.

yep i posted this under pre-dental too but i figured the replies here would be less biased, thanks!

my friends in dental school say crest whitening strips are bad news bears. they actually destroy your enamel. after using them initially your teeth will appear whiter. however, with subsequent uses your teeth will actually become yellower than they were originally, making you have to use more of the strips. a clever marketing ploy.i have some friends who are dentists and they say if you want your teeth whitened get them bleached by a dentist. do it right and save your gorgeous smile.
