Do DMU Alumni Often Contact Interviewees?

About a week or so ago as I was driving down on my way to shadow a doc (D.O.), I got a call from a DMU Alumnus. It was totally unexpected, but it was a very nice gesture, and I had a conversation with the guy for at least twenty minutes. My interview for DMU is coming up in early February, but I was wondering - how often does this happen?

Yes- the school tries to get someone in your area to call you so that they can answer any questions that you have.

Yes...I received a call before my interview, after my interview, and a few weeks after I was accepted! I think it's a nice gesture! Shows that they care and are willing to make the effort to get you to go to their school!

Mine did that... and I got to shadow him. He took us out to lunch and explained everything about the interview process and DMU and the lifestyle of a doctor... Awesome guy!

Married?!?! Not me...must have got me confused with that other good lookin' guy goin' to DMU next year! 😉 It's ok...I always get confused with other tall, dark, and handsome men (btw, I am short, and white as can be!) ; )
