Hello! I know that gastroenterology is one of, if not the most competitive fellowship out there. But, I do see DOs in the field so it can be done. Do most DO-GEs go an AOA fellowship route? If so, what is the quality of these AOA fellowships?? Would a DO applicant "need" to do IM at an institution that has a GE fellowship more so than an allo would? Thanks!
