So my letter-writer is having me read their letter (surprise to me!) and check it for any mistakes or typos. My question is, should I just correct the content errors? For example, if they accidently said something wrong about one of my activities? Or should I really correct punctuation, too? (I notice all comma errors, because I'm weird like that) I really don't feel right correcting their grammar/punctuation lol, so I don't think I'm going to, but I wanted to see what everyone else thought.

Let me know asap! Definitely won't need answers after about a day

Yes, in fact I drafted two of my rec letters myself. So do whatever you want with them, it's not like he'll add a bad sentence just because you corrected his grammatical mistakes.

Do both. It's a good opportunity.

Oh okay, I will go ahead and correct it then. I just wasn't sure I wanted to be correcting a physician who is clearly far more educated than I am 😳 Not because I was scared he would go and write something mean after that, haha

Edit: I'm going to send the e-mail now, so no need to keep answering after this post!
