Hi all,

I am new to these forums and this is my first post. I am currently working towards a BS in Bilology. But I have a few bad grades in my resume including 2 D's , 4W's, and a few C's at a community college. I have an overall of 3.35 GPA. I have retaken the D's and h improved my grades but I am really concerned because my grades are not good and I honestly don't know what I would do if I don't get into a Pharmacy school.

I am doing a volunteer work in a hospital and currently working in retail pharmacy. Do I have any chance of getting in to a pharmacy school? And what other things can I do to improve my chances besides earning better grades?

Thanks in advance.

is your 3.35 GPA including the Ds and Cs or did you calculate the retake grade only?

yes. I didn't calculate the the D's because I have retaken them. Do i have to calculate them? If so, how? Also, the D's I got are not science classes. One is English and the other is CS class.

You'll have to use all of your grades not just the retakes - the pharmcas uses everything, so if you got a C the first time, retook it and got an A the 2nd time - you have to enter both and your GPA will be calculated based on both.

In this case there might be a chance that the GPA you calculated may be higher than what pharmcas will calculate. To make sure you are doing the calculations the way pharmcas doing it - go to their website and read in FAQs how exactly they calculate your GPA.
