Okay guys I know how much you love these threads. But I honestly don't know what my chances of getting in are. I'm currently pursing a degree in pharmacology. I plan on eventually going to pharmacy school for my PharmD. With the heavy course load for the semester i'm not sure how much it'll affect my GPA (which is a little above a 3.0). My science GPA maybe a little bit lower than that 2.8-2.9 because of physics. The thing is, I'm taking the exact same classes as pharmacy students as part of the curriculum. Do you think other pharmacy school will see that as an advantage if I do well in those courses (B or better). I have not taken the PCAT but i'm hoping for at least an 85. Oh and my EC are okay, nothing to extensive. I am planning to volunteer at an outpatient pharmacy for a year-just thought i'd throw that in. Is there anything else I can do to strengthen my application?
Any input on this would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks!
