Guys, honest opinion do you think I have a chance with the following pharmacy schools with--

Prereq semesters 3+
GPA :: 2.82 -- hoping to get to a 2.9 after this semester
PCAT :: 93 - taken once -

Texas Southern University
-Univesity of Houston
-Any other Texas Schools whose deadlines haven't passed...

I go to Texas Southern...
I did HORRIBLE my first semester (more than actually) . And actually got 2F's in the summer because I was admitted to a hospital for a portion of the session (They won't remove it... I've tried).

I've dropped about 4 classes. My only saving grace is my PCAT score
I uploaded my transcript if you want to see...

My last semesters I got a 3.30, 3.12, 3.61 but they unfortunately didn't really help.
Any kind of advice is appreciated! Thanks

I don know about Texas schools but your stats believe it or not aren't that bad. Your pcat score is fantastic!
Do you have any pharmacy job experiences? Any extracurriculars? That would build on your application.. I haven't looked at ur transcript, but as long as you explain yourself in your personal statement essay regarding what you went through I'm sure schools will be understanding. I know a few pharm schools that have a 2.5 minimum GPA. Can you retake some of the classes maybe?

Thanks for the boost in confidence!
I have near 0 job experience. Only work I've done is tutoring computer illiterate adults on basic computer knowledge and functions.
With concerning my extracurriculars, they're not really in the pharmacy field. Mainly just tutoring my peers and highschool students and some volunteering downtown. (At least 25 hrs.)

Regarding my personal statement, sadly I didn't explain myself, which looking back was an idiotic decision. I've already sent a pharmcas application to UT [rejected :'( ]
but I need to edit and add things like hours and a LOR, but I cannot edit the application now. Should I start a new one?

I work with a guy who got into pharmacy school recently with your exact stats. It was a lower tier one but hey he has a pharm intern job now so he isn't doing too shabby. Apply broadly and try to get a job as a pharm tech.
