very quick question. i am missing kaplan questions because I know how pioglitazone and rosiglitazone act but I just didn't know they are "Glitazones/thiazolidinediones." and the answer choice is Glitazones/thiazolidinediones (basically the class instead of the name).

do i have to know both for the actual nbme for basically all drugs?

i've gotten into a bad habit of just memorizing suffixes/prefixes for drugs

thanks

You need to know the generic name and the class (e.g. clindamycin or amikacin or ethacrynic acid could trip you up if you were relying on class suffixes). But no, you don't need to know the brand name.
