This may have been asked before, but I am looking for advice on whether I should register for an English class this summer.
I'm a non-trad knocking off my prereqs a la carte. When I was an undergrad, I only took one semester of English (ENG - English Comp), but also took 3 writing-intensive humanity courses (outside the ENG/English department) per my college's yearly writing requirement. These courses have a WR (writing requirement) designation on my transcript. Any chance that med schools will accept one of my WR courses in lieu of an actual class from the ENG department in order to satisfy the second semester English/Comp requirement? ...Or does this vary depending on the med school? Do you recommend I sign up (last-minute) for an English class this summer? (...even though I'd prefer not to spend the money on extra classes unless ABSOLUTELY necessary LOL).
