Do I need Barron's and Cliff's AP Bio?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I already have DAT Destroyer and Barron's AP Biology for DAT Bio studying. Do I also need Cliff's AP Biology? Thanks.

Why not? They're both good books, and the Destroyer book has only practice questions anyway. I have both, as well as someone's 47-pages of notes from SDN, and Destroyer I plan on using when I start running practice questions.

Here are a couple of other resources:

I'd advise using as many efficient resources as possible, and I'm sure many people here will agree.

I don't think it's necessary to get both, one will suffice just fine. I have a bias towards Cliffs AP because I used that, but a lot of people like Barron's too. I'd just go to barnes and noble and see which one you like better.

Yeah, I agree with Gatord. Grab whichever book you like more. I'd also use Ferralis' notes and add things to them as you go along so you can refer to one source when it comes time to review material towards the end. I didn't get a chance to utilize Ferralis' notes, but glanced at them here and there for quick reference and they seemed pretty thorough.

I preferred Barron's because it was more fun to read. I used both. They're seriously only about 10 bucks on Amazon-use both! 🙂
