Here's the story. in high school, i took AP bio, and got a 4 on the AP exam, so i got excused from bio 1 and 2. i got 8 credits that transferred for credit for bio 1 and 2 (intro bio). my advisor told me that it's not going to be a problem, but somebody else told me it is. i took bio 1 because i didn't know i was getting credit for it, and then the school said i shouldn't have taken it, but to a computer "glitch", i did not recieve a letter, so i got bio elective credit, only 3 credits though, although bio 1 is a 4 credit course. then, i took genetics, but without the lab since the lab is not required for biochem majors. do i need to take more bio with lab though? or do i not have to, the schools would accept my AP credit as bio with lab?

you generally need to take two semesters of introductory biology with lab (well, kinda. you need 2 semesters of lab, but those lab courses don't need to be at the intro level) in college . regardless, AP credits will not suffice.

AP credit means nothing, nothing! For many schools you need one year of college bio with lab.

I don't know if they accept AP bio, but I do know you need 1 year of Bio lab as a requirement for all schools. I would call one of the schools you are going to apply to and ask them. They are the ones that can tell you for sure what you need and don't need.

Cell biology with lab or Microbiology with lab for one of the semesters of General Biology. I also recommend Anatomy and Physiology as good prep for the MCAT.
