Do I need to memorize all 20 amino acids?

do i need to know which ones are polar/nonpolar, basic/acidic, or their functions...????
how about their structures?

I knew the amino acids going into the test. They didn't come up on my real dat, but I encountered a couple of questions on my practice tests. So I'll say it's possible for some questions about amino acids to come up, but I don't exactly know how likely it is.

Unless you have the time to study and memorize all those 20 amino acids, I would say it isn't necessary.
 
I think it would be a good idea to know the basic structure of an amino acid, but knowing all 20 isn't necessary...I remember running into a question about amino acids on my test, but it didn't ask me to name it or anything...it was a really basic question.
