Hi,

I am new to SDN and wanted to ask for your guys' advice 🙁 I am worried about whether my DAT scores will be enough given my low undergrad GPA. My scores on my first attempt:
AA: 21/TS: 22/Biology: 21/Gen Chem: 22/Organic: 22/Reading: 22/PAT: 18/QR: 17

General Background:
*Psych Major, Bio Minor
*Undergrad GPAs: Overall: 3.338/Science: 3.122/BCP: 3.099/Non-Science: 3.735
*Current Post-Bacc GPA: 4.0 (I am working my hardest to keep this up!)

I know that a low GPA requires a very high DAT. Do you guys think it is necessary for me to retake it?

Advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

Need to? No. Want to? Depends on you. You definitely need all the bonus points ou can get and a strong DAT will help that. But it depends if you can rewrite time wise

I dont think you need to retake the DAT, your scores are already good. Keep up the 4.0 in the post-bacc program, get your app in early and apply to many schools. Provided that your recommendation letters and essay are good, you should get in somewhere.

20+ on AA is usually competitive. Probably there is no need to retake. There are a number of schools that don't have high GPA and/or DAT averages. Make sure all other aspects of your application are great. Applying early will also be a great advantage.
