For the OIE, is it one of those essays where they say its optional, but in reality, it isn't and you have to write at least something? Or can I literally just leave it blank if I feel like I have nothing to say?
I get very upset when some schools want it to be required but don't signal that to applicants (looking at some of the TMDSAS schools who "require" the third "optional" essay which is similar to the OIE).
It does give you a chance to reflect personally on your journey and what the weather is like. You likely will have a similar opportunity on secondary essay prompts.
