Do Interviewers see secondary?

Hey guys,
I'm going to be applying this summer for the class of 2010 (man, seems so far away) and I was wondering if interviewers had access to the secondary application or only the primary.

My main reason for asking this is because I will be volunteering in Kenya for most of the month of May and I was planning on writing my PS before I left. The only downside to this is that I wouldn't be able to convey my experience in Kenya. Would there be any opportunity for me to include this experience in my application before I sat for the interview without sending an update to the school? Thanks

sometimes it's open file and sometimes it's not. just maybe briefly mention your upcoming journey and if the opportunity presents itself, talk about it at the interview.

I agree with the prior poster -- some interviewers will have seen the secondary, some not. Many times even if they have been given the secondary, they will not have spent a great deal of time reading it, though.
