DO Lor interview?

When DO's write their letter of rec do they mention the school they got their degree from and is it brownie points? I was creepin on the forums and read alot of post about interviewers bringing up their DO lor just cause the writer attended that particular school they were interviewing at. Do they search the physician on google or something or is it stated on the letter or is it like a secondary question?

I have no idea what the DO I shadowed wrote, but the school he went to is the only II I have right now. Probably just coincidence. Or I owe him dinner.
