Do med schools know if you registered for the MCAT?

So I am on a couple waitlists this cycle and am planning on retaking the MCAT if I don't get in this cycle. So, will the schools I am currently waitlisted at know I registered to take the MCAT this August? Or will they only be notified when I get my score back? Thanks for your help.

On the AAMC's, I told them that I took the MCAT's this past June. I only applied to two medical schools and sent them and will later send my other applications out after my scores come out this july. They will know but will not evaluate the applications until the scores are out and sent to them. After your august scores, they will finally review your application. Hope for the best for you. Peace

I doubt it, if you'd like them to know, you should inform them.
