I have been inspired to start this thread due to all the other "bash your school threads." I am at the end of my first year at WVSOM and I just wanted to warn all you pre-meds who are thinking about attending. I have now learned that the administration doesn't care about the students, the school just wants your money, the curriculum is terrible and unorganized, and the school has some really questionable admissions policies. Oh- and not to mention the pathetic clinical rotations. Me and my fellow classmates are miserable. And we have already tried to transfer.

I do not want to go into any more detail but if you have questions please PM me. Save yourself from this school.

Guys, we really need to stop all the bashing threads and the fake bashing threads. Just my opinion. If you are only going to give select information out then don't both posting your disgruntled view.


Every school has its issues. That is life.

Gosh, I'm sorry you don't seem to like WVSOM.

My only gripe with WVSOM is it's high tution.

But I can't help but be impressed by how much I was welcomed by the students there when I went for an interview. I'd be walking around and this really attractive girl would walk up to you and tell me I should go to WVSOM. It happened to me 2x

I also had a very candid conversation with a MS2 there and he was really chatting his head off. The guy wouldn't shut up and leave me alone


To be honest, I'm sort of glad I walked around before I went to the interview because it made me relax a bit. I was really tense that day and talking to many of the students there really calmed me down a lot. 👍

Over in the pre-allo.....there are people willing to eat poop hot dogs to get into med school....

You should be thankful you didn't have to do that....no matter how bad you think your school is....

Any why do you think that is? Likely because allo schools are more difficult to get into and because these individuals didnt feel like settling for a DO school.
