Just a word of warning to anyone submitting soon.

I put in a title: Proficiency in "R" Statistical Computing Software, and it was cut off when I submitted to just say Proficiency in.

Also, any ideas on how to deal with an error like this? AMCAS won't change the application, so I'm curious how others would handle it. Should I contact schools directly when the time comes?

Also putting this in the AMCAS question thread.

I doubt anyone will care that you're proficient in R. That should at most be a footnote to an activity involving research.

I think it just says "Proficiency in" now. Not "Proficiency in Statistical whatever"

So this is obviously a big problem.

You explained it in the description, right? If yes, it doesn't matter. You can't change anything right now and it's not worth using valuable secondary space, unless there's an "anything else you want to tell us" question.
