do nutritionists have a hard time getting into med?

Is it true that nutritionists have a difficult time getting into med school? this is my major but i was told that this isnt a good idea(by a dean at my school NYU). I dont want to transfer to another major because but I really want to go to med school can anyone help/ 🙂

I have heard that it does not matter what your major is as an undergraduate as long as you complete all the prereq's. Besides its difficult no matter what degree you have.
