Hello

So I graduated 2019 and then decided I wanted to try become a doctor. At the time I really didn’t know what I wanted to do and this combined with about 20 ED visits and 3 surgeries led to a low GPA. I have retaken classes and am hoping to apply next cycle but I need some advice if it would be worth it to apply MD.
My Undergrad gpa was a 2.75
I got my gpa up to a over 3.34 and a science gpa of 3.6
I’m taking the mcat soon and all my fl are around 513.
Thank for any help!

How are your ECs? You plan to apply in 2021 for matriculation in 2022? What state are you from? UIM?

I’m from Illinois. Yes I would apply May 2021. I have worked as a scribe, medical assistant. Have about 200 shadow hours MD and DO. Volunteering in hospice, at a children’s museum, camp for kids with cancer and with Gigi’s playhouse around 150 hours.
