How much more difficult is landing ortho as a DO versus an MD? Or are they about same chances wise?

Do you have an MD acceptance? if no then it's moot. Also try to relax or you will fail out of med school with no chance of ever getting ortho.

Right now I would say it is about equal as DO's have osteopathic ortho residencies that only they are allowed to match into. With the merger of AOA/ACGME residencies likely to happen how this affects these spots remains to be seen. I'm sure this has been answered before and likely better, you should do a search.
