What is the general etiquette when it comes to sharing past exam papers for an upcoming major exam? Do they pretend to others that they don't have any past exam papers (except to their close friends)? What's your experience been?

What exam are you talking about? For PREP everyone has old questions. Unless you have insider information for your specific board then I guess you should keep them to yourself if you feel like you want a leg up.
