if so what do they do with the info?
EpointH said:During the orientation at a recent interview, one of the admissions coordinators said, "I know a lot of people say our interview day is long -- yes, I do read studentdoctor.net!" So yes, I think that at some places they probably do read at least the interview feedback that's posted about their school. It's probably a better way to get real feedback about the interview day than those evaluations they ask you to turn in! 🙂

U Miami also definately reads.
Sure most do. I think it is just to stay informed, see what's being said, etc.
sparky5 said:At NYMC they read it every day. Well atleast the interview feedback, but I bet they keep their eye on this forum as well.
Dr Turninkoff said:at my NYMC orientation, the dean of admissions told us, "some people don't recognize that they are here during an exam block and will go post on SDN that everyone at NYMC has their head in a book all day." i couldn't help but grin because i had just read that characterization the day before.

skiracer90 said:Imagine if they used SDN against us? - While assessing whether or not to admit applicant X, one adcom member notes that they have started threads about volunteering being pointless or are choosing schools based on fellow interviewee hotness. - This is supposed to be a place where we voice our concerns and opinions freely. Maybe I should start threads called "Why skiracer90 is so great and should be admitted." Ugh...it just makes me uncomfortable that the people deciding our fate are seeing us in our most informal, goofy and vulnerable state.
bigdan said:For absolute certain some folks at Emory do; one of the Admissions persons mentioned that she could guess who was who from screen names and when they posted their interview dates in the threads...
