I shadowed and volunteered with a DO who happens to be a cousin twice removed. Would this be a problem.He was also one of my recommenders.Would this be a problem? Do I need to shadow with another DO?

if his/her last name is the same, find another person. If not, make sure he doesn't mention the family ties in the LOR and you don't bring it up, you will have no issues.
