I'm applying to a lot of schools, and I'm going to need to put some secondary fees on credit cards. The only two credit cards I have are Amex and Discover? Do any schools take these cards?

They only accept golden dragons unfortunately.

Some do, some don't. Some require checks (!)

If it's a problem, you can get a prepaid Mastercard or Visa no problem. If you have Paypal, you can I believe get a one-time-use Visa or MC card number from them using Paypal funds.

Do you not have a MC or Visa debit card from your bank?

I do. I'm more concerned about not having the money to cover all my secondary fees until a couple weeks after, and I don't want to delay. I was hoping to just put a lot of these on credit and pay them off at the end of the month.

Why do you only have amex and discover? Just apply for a Visa/MC credit card. If you already have credit established in your name it shouldn't be that tough. As others mentioned, your debit card should be either Visa or MC too.

I've been applying all of the ones I can to my discover and have paid the rest with my Visa. Its about a 50/50 split. But is gives me a way to submit before getting paid.
