I'm still convinced that Georgetown blacklisted me after I withdrew my application from there for undergrad. Well, not really, but it at least explains why they were one of the first to reject me so freakin' early for med school. But still, I flipped them off.

Actually when I interviewed at UVa this question came up! Somehow the interviewer knew that I had applied there undergrad (it was a little creepy, actually...) but had not chosen to go there, and so I felt like I had to justify why I want to go there NOW but I didn't want to go there then. Aaah!!

Slick answer: I wanted to get out of the midwest and see what living in a bigger city was like, but now I'm ready to return to my suburban roots. 😉

Anyway, take heart -- even though I rejected them for undergrad, they let me in for medical school!

are you from VA? did you go to some other really highly ranked school?

if you answered yes to both questions, i think your admittance into UVA would be likely.

I'm not from Virginia, but I did graduate from Harvard. I'm just saying that even if they do know you turned them down for undergrad, you can still get in for med school...luckily!
